Homeschool support from a credentialed teacher

Whether you’re just starting out or a few years in, homeschooling young children brings big questions. Where do I start? Which curriculum? Am I teaching reading the right way? I’m a California credentialed teacher with 10 years in elementary classrooms, and my goal is to help families feel confident teaching reading and math at home.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will you tell me which homeschool pathway I have to choose?

1

No. I’ll help you understand and compare the primary options, but the final decision belongs to your family.

You’ll receive three to five focused recommendations based on your family’s priorities. Depending on your needs, these may be complete programs, individual subject resources, or a suggested combination.

The consultation does not include researching every available curriculum or creating daily lesson plans for every subject.

Do I need to withdraw my child before the consultation?

3

No. Families should generally understand their options and confirm their new educational arrangement before withdrawing a child from the current school.

Can you help if my child has an IEP or 504 Plan?

4

Your child’s existing needs and supports can be considered when comparing options. However, this service does not provide special education legal advice or advocacy. Families should confirm how a change in enrollment may affect services before making a final decision.
